Theda Johnson

Theda K. Johnson, 82, a resident of Afton passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. She was born on July 30, 1924 in Kansas City, KS to Frank and Ruby (Saar) Shoaf. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Theda married Carl P. Johnson January 31,1942, he preceded Mrs. Johnson in death March 20, 1989. Survivors include her daughters Charlotte Johnson, Paula Melvin and Janet Maas; other survivors include two granddaughters Renea Melvin, and Rochelle Melvin. There will be visitation at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2007. The Graveside service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.
