Thelma Jones (84) years Thelma Mae (Helm) Jones was born to Issac and Lillie Helm on April 8th 1926 in Craig County, Oklahoma and entered the spirit world on July 25th, 2010 in Miami, Oklahoma. She spent over 30 years educating youth in Craig County, was an active leader in 4-H, served in the Daughters of the American Revolution, was an active member in Eastern Star, and provided service through Bible Study in the Church of God throughout much of her life. Thelma dedicated her life to the service of others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Otis Jones, Brothers, Arthur Helm, Clarence Helm, Francis Helm, James Helm, Albert Helm, and Isaac Helm. She is survived by one son, Larry Gene Jones and Fiancé Wendy Sullivan of White Oak, one brother, Fred Helm and wife Phyllis of Osawatomie, Kansas, Grandchildren, Jami Bartgis of Washington, DC, Jyme Harvey and husband Mike of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Gretchen Newman of Vinita, Oklahoma. Great Grandchildren include Alison Johnson, Chelsey Johnson, Cory Johnson, Zachary Harvey, Caleb Harvey and Lillie Mae Harvey, and many nieces, nephew's cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28th from 6-8pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. The service will be held at Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 29th at 10am, with Pastor Eddie Wrinkle officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
