Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Thomas Edward Sloan, age 68, passed away on May 9, 2017 at Integris Grove Hospital. Thomas other wise known as "Tom" or "Butch" was born on April 18, 1949 in Auburn, New York. He was the son of Leo and Edith Sloan. Tom served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the City of New York as a Caseworker, helping veterans file paper work. He was united in marriage to Karren Pyle in Arkansas in 1998. Butch was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, he loved the open road and loved to get out and just go for a ride. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Ellen and Patty. He leaves behind his wife Karren Sloan of the home, three sons Michael Sloan of Grove, Oklahoma, Shane Sellers and his significant other Rhonda of Grove, Oklahoma, Vince Sellers and his wife Terry of Big Piney, Wyoming, and one daughter Jodi Sape and her husband David of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and five grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Bridges officiating.
