Thomas Quinton Willis, 23, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at his home in Copan. Quinton was born to Thomas E. Willis and Martha A. Caldwell on July 29, 1986 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Much of his childhood was spent in Northeast Oklahoma although he enjoyed a few of his early childhood years in the Bahamas. Quinton had a gentle nature and an extraordinary affection for the outdoors and all of God's animals. Most of his leisure time was spent with books, script and song. He played a number of instruments and enjoyed participating in the school orchestra and band. His time with family was what he truly cherished most of all. He was a remarkable son, brother, and friend to all that crossed his path and He will be deeply missed. Quinton is survived by his parents, Thomas and Dana Willis of Copan, and Martha and Devin Wormuth of Tulsa; four siblings, Christine Willis of Tulsa, Andrew Willis of Copan, Lauren and Elias Wormuth of Tulsa; grandparents Diane Potter of Claremore, Ron and Jeane Curnutt of Bartlesville, and Jim and Reba Caldwell of Claremore. Quinton is preceded in death by his grandfather Denny Potter. The Willis Memorial services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene in Bartlesville, OK on Saturday August 1, 2009 at 11am; services will be presided over by Dr. Randy Schuneman. Friends may also visit Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home for viewing the following day Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 12 pm to 9 pm. Services are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
