Tinnie Christine (Beehler) King went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 23rd in Bartlesville. She was born September 10, 1938 in Centralia, Oklahoma to parents Fred Reneldo Beehler, Jr. and Grace Louise (Ellis) Beehler. She attended Welch schools, graduating in 1956. She married Claude E. Mathis, Jr. on December 20, 1956. To this union was born a daughter, Cheryl Ann. After Claude's passing in 1959, she later married Gale D. King on May 8, 1970. To this union we're born a daughter, Karen Joy, and a son, Kevin Dale. Tinnie worked as a seamstress in the Nowata area and also worked in the Nowata school cafeteria. She later was owner and operator of a successful clothing alterations business for more than twenty years before retiring in 2012. In addition to sewing, she loved antiques, Precious Moments figurines and gardening. She was also a proud and doting grandmother, always taking an interest in their activities and accomplishments. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Claude Mathis, Jr., a sister, Freida, and brothers Maurice, Donald, Myron and Clifford, as well as granddaughter Grace Ikenberry and great-grandson Landon Henry. She is survived by her husband, Gale, of the home, daughters Cheryl Bartholomew and husband Martin and Karen Ikenberry and husband Greg, all of Bartlesville, and son Kevin and wife Sarah of Owasso; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27 at 10 a.m. at Arnold Moore Funeral Home in Bartlesville.
