Tommy Newman

Tommy Lynn Newman, 59 year-old Tulsa resident passed away at his home. Tommy was born January 15, 1951 in Borger, Texas to Owen Ralph and Faye Uldene (Stewart) Newman. He was a longtime employee of Phillips Petroleum and lastly worked for Western Rope in Tulsa. Tommy moved to Oklahoma in 1997 from Fritch Texas. He was an avid baseball fan, especially of the Texas Ranger's, liked playing fantasy baseball, bowling and most of all being with his family and having a good time. The family includes: his son's, Joseph Newman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sean Dietz of Houston, Texas, Jack Alan Webster of Claremore, and many other relatives and friends. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel in Vinita, with Pastor Kenneth Robertson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at the Mose Ridge Cemetery near Topsy. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
