On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Tony Lee Clapper passed away at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 65.
Tony was born on July 24, 1959, in Fairfax, Oklahoma, to Ray Clapper and Noby (Carter) Clapper. He grew up in Bartlesville, graduating from College High School. On March 16, 1979, Tony married the love of his life, Jamie Sue Hastings. The couple raised two twin sons: Marcus James Clapper and Matthew Ray Clapper.

While attending doctor appointments, Tony and Jamie enjoyed back roading and road-tripping off the “typical” path. Tony enjoyed traveling and would make it a point to attend ski trips or mission trips with his wife and boys throughout the years, whenever he was able.
Tony was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. He was considered “a jack of all trades” for his abundance of knowledge in numerous fields. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was tinkering or working on cars. Tony enjoyed tending to his horse, Katie, and watching westerns.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Noby Clapper; his siblings: Donald, Ronnie, and Louise; and his wife: Jamie Clapper.
Those left to cherish the memory of Tony include his sons: Marcus Clapper and wife, Heather of Bartlesville, OK and Matthew Clapper and wife, Rachel of Bartlesville, OK: his granddaughter: Barbara Clapper of Bartlesville, OK; his unborn grandson: Connor Clapper of Bartlesville, OK; his brother: Lonnie Clapper of Bartlesville, OK; his sisters: Carolyn Inman of Bartlesville, OK and Darlene Roberts of Hominy, OK; his mother-in-law: Suzie Hastings of Bartlesville, OK, as well as other family members and friends.
