Tracy J. Williams, 52 year-old lifetime Vinita resident, died on Saturday October 27, 2007 at the Craig General Hospital. He was born May 23, 1955 in Vinita to Eldon and Margaret (Gilbert) Williams. Tracy was a graduate of Vinita High School. He married Judi Grayson on April 8, 1977 at the First United Methodist Church in Vinita. Tracy was an employee of the Grand River Dam Authority, working at the Dam as a Hydro Electric Technician for over 19 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vinita. Tracy was an avid Oklahoma Sooner football fan and enjoyed going to their games, he also liked playing poker, golf and especially being with his grandchildren. The family includes: his wife Judi of the home, his two daughters, Shelby Vancil and husband Cory of Vinita, Lindsay Berg and husband Josh of Adair, grandchildren, Adley Berg and Dawson Vancil; his parents Eldon and Margaret Williams of Vinita, four brothers, Larry Williams and wife Marie of Vinita, Michael Williams and wife Anne of Vinita, Rick Williams and wife Janice of Tulsa, Stanley Williams of Grove, a sister Jeannie Friend and husband John of Claremore; mother and father in-law, Woodie and Carol Grayson of Vinita, grandmother in-law, Ola Grayson of Vinita, brothers in-law Steve Grayson and wife Leslie of Bixby, Tim Grayson and wife Kami of Broken Arrow; also numerous other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Vinita, with Pastor Dean Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Casket bearers will be; David Minson, Mark Buchanan, Kyle Fritz, Eubert Tucker, Doug Thach, Bill Beisley and Mike Lile.
