Troy James Porter, 61 year old, Jay, Oklahoma resident passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012. Troy was born on February 20, 1951 in Kansas City Kansas to Arthur and Addie (Gilbreath) Porter. Troy has several occupations but had most recently worked as a janitor for Grand Lake Casino. He was an avid OU fan, and enjoyed bingo as well as bowling, Troy participated in several events for Special Olympics until his health declined, he had a competitive spirit, but also made friends easy. Troy is survived by one brother Paul Porter, as well as a host of Friends at the Delaware County Friendship Homes and Monroe Manor, that he thought of as family. Funeral Services for Troy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday August 31, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Pastor Jim Bible will officiate.
