Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261 Tyler DWayne Homler's life was stolen by pediatric brain cancer on July 26, 2017 at the age of 10. Tyler was born on August 3, 2006 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty Missouri. He was the bright-eyed son of Byron and Tosha (Buzzini) Homler. The family moved to the Wyandotte area shortly after Tyler turned one. Tyler was a student at Wyandotte Public School where he received an Achievement in Reading Award just last year. He also was awarded by the Masonic Lodge. Tyler attended the Wyandotte Baptist Church. Tyler was diagnosed with a "DIPG" brain tumor in April of 2016, which are highly aggressive and difficult to treat, that are found at the base of the brain and are made up of the cells that help support and protect the brain's neurons. Tyler will be reunited in heaven with his Grandma Rita Becker-Hart, Great Grandma Martha Becker, Great grandpa Arthur Becker, Great Grandpa Shorty Homler, Great Grandma Helen Homler and Grandpa Don Blevins. He leaves here on earth his parents Byron and Tosha and his little sister Madison Homler. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Monday, July 31, 2017 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Bearskin Fitness Center Gym in Wyandotte with Mr. Geoff Buffalo officiating. Honoring Tyler's life serving as casket bearers will be Clayton McCall, Collin McCall, Dillon McLain, Jackson Mooney, Darrin Hull, Tegan Bryant and Zachary Plummer. Honorary bearers will be Stetson Hart and Dan High. Tyler will be laid to rest in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the family at paypay.me/Thomler.
