Tyrone Lee Houck

Tyrone Lee Houck, 85, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, at the Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on July 28, 1938, in Jay, OK, to Ted Houck and Nola (Earp) Houck. 

Tyrone grew up in the Jay area and graduated from Jay High School. He went on to attend college, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Tyrone worked at H & H for about 40 years, before retiring. He was also a private pilot and loved to fly his airplane whenever he got the chance.

On May 7, 1971, Tyrone married the love of his life, Henrietta Morris, in Oklahoma City, OK. The two were inseparable until Henrietta’s passing in 2021. Tyrone was known to be a good person and would always help anyone in need.

Preceding Tyrone in death are his parents: Ted and Nola Houck and his wife: Henrietta Houck.

Tyrone is survived by several family members and friends, and he will be missed very much by them.

There will be a visitation at the Colony Chapel at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5-7 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Mt Herman Cemetery in Jay, Oklahoma, with Pastor Rick Thomas officiating.
