Velma was born on January 31, 1927 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Dave & Elva (McCombs) Linn. Velma was retired from the United Postal Service. She was preceded by her parents, her husband Euell Wood, & 2 daughters Bettie Wood and Brenda Tooker. Velma is survived by a daughter, Beverly Hollis of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 4 Granddaughters and 5 Great Grandsons. Services will be held at 2:00 pm , Tuesday , November 3, 2015 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, OK with Rev. Doug Rainbolt officiating. Velma will be laid to rest in Row Cemetery in Colcord, Oklahoma.
