Funeral services for Virgil Everett Robertson are 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating. Interment will follow at Ball Cemetery in Childers. A family visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Virgil Everett Robertson, 79, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. He was born December 25, 1934 in Jennings, Oklahoma to Clara (Brannan) and William Roy Robertson. On October 1, 1954 he married Betty Kueklhan in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Virgil worked as a molder at Pressure Cast Products where he worked for 26 years before retiring. Virgil loved and enjoyed his family. He would play horse shoes, basketball, and volleyball with the children. Virgil also enjoyed coaching little league. He loved to joke around with his family and friends, play cards, and would always win at dominos'. When he had time he would go fishing. He loved being outside. Virgil was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew him. Virgil is survived by eight children, William "Bill" Robertson and wife Margaret of Fayetteville, AR, David Robertson and wife Anita of Delaware, Ronald "Ronnie" Robertson and wife Gwen of Delaware, Gerald Robertson and wife Sheri of Bartlesville, Tammie Robertson and husband Rick of Bartlesville, Barbara "Barbie" Robertson of Nowata, Jacqueline "Jackie" Robertson of Lenapah, James Michael Robertson of Delaware; four brothers, Bobby Robertson, Emmett Robertson, Leroy Robertson, Rocky Robertson, twenty grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Robertson; his parents, William and Clara Robertson; a son, Jeffery Lynn Robertson; a grandson, Virgil Vogel Robertson; three sisters, Deloris Robertson, Ollie Dickie, Elouise Shipman.
