Virginia Russell

Virginia Lee "Ginny" Russell, 74 of Vinita, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She lived in Vinita for 26 years. Ginny was born in Stigler, Oklahoma on June 5, 1939, to Jack and Sina Mae (Trahern) Hurst, the second of five children. Ginny graduated from Kinta High School in 1957. Ginny was retired and enjoyed watching the birds from her porch, visiting with friends, oil paintings, riding horses and rodeos. She is preceded in death by her parents, a younger brother Gary Hurst of Stigler, Oklahoma, and her daughters' father, Charles M. McClung, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Jan and husband John "Ski" Tomascheski of Tahlequah and Susan McClung of the home. Also, grandchildren Samuel and Jenee Tomascheski of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Judy Gaither of Pryor, Oklahoma. Three sisters: Ethel and husband Charles "Fuzzy" Warren of Eufaula; Glenda and husband Ted Hotson of Broken Arrow; Kay and husband Carl Mayhall of Stigler, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Ginny will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita, Oklahoma. A visitation for Ginny will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday July 26, 2013 also at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita.
