Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261 Vivian Imogene McLaughlin, 82, went home to Jesus on December 16, 2015 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Vivian, known as "Imogene" by family and Grove area friends and "Grandma Jack" by her grandchildren, was born on May 9, 1933 in Southwest City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Mattie K. (Johnston) and William Henry Lewis. Vivian married Jack McLaughlin on October 1, 1958. Vivian was loved by all who met her, and was commonly described as being "a hoot". Her favorite place was sitting on her porch swing, looking at the flowers that Grandpa Jack always planted for her. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, especially since Grandpa Jack enjoyed them too. She also loved playing scrabble and dominoes with "the kids". Vivian had several occupations, including welder, bookkeeper and realtor, to name a few. She also enjoyed working with special needs students and volunteering at the mission. Vivian wanted everyone to know Jesus. Dodge Baptist Church held many memories for her including her baptism, her marriage and going to school there. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister and one granddaughter. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack McLaughlin, her four children; Paul McLaughlin and his wife Becky of Pasadena, TX, Rhonda Hipp and her husband Bryan of Broken Arrow, OK, Tom McLaughlin and his wife Lesa of Cedarcreek, MO, and Valerie Mudge and her husband Darrin of Coweta, OK. Vivian was blessed with 11 grandchildren; Amy Hipp, Emily Hipp, Justin Mudge (Star), Terry Mudge (Jessie), Jett Mudge, Kessler McLaughlin, Lacey McLaughlin, Anna McLaughlin, Sarah Harter (Ben), Cody White and Shelby Taylor (Zak); and three great grandchildren Jaxon Mudge, Veronica Mudge and Cru Taylor. Vivian is also survived by her brother Jake Lewis of Haysville, Kansas. She will be missed by all her family, including numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday, December 18, 2015 at Worley- Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Dodge Baptist Church east of Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Charlie Lehman officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Paul McLaughlin, Tom McLaughlin, Kessler McLaughlin, Justin Mudge, Terry Mudge, and Jett Mudge.
