Vivian Geraldine "Jerry" Williams, 94 year old Vinita resident passed away, Wednesday, June 15, 2016. She was born on March 31, 1922, near Chelsea to Jonathan and Phoebe Jane (Kidd) Dawes. Jerry was married to Dellas Earl Williams, who preceded her in death in 1986. She worked many years at Carter's Shopping Center in the meat department. Jerry had been an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Vinita. She loved to crochet, make blankets for her grandchildren, and crafts for the Senior Citizens Center Bazaar. Jerry loved her grandchildren, going to ball games, and when she was no longer able to travel to games, she would listen on the radio and make popcorn just like she was there. Family preceding her in death include: her husband Dellas, her parents, fourteen siblings, two grandchildren, Tim Williams and Teresha Henson. The family includes: her three sons, Butch Williams and wife Susan of Vinita, Wayne Williams and wife Britt of Big Cabin, Larry Paul "LP" Williams and wife Peggy of Vinita; grandchildren, Mark Smith, Eddie Williams, Terry Williams, Brad Hood, Matt Williams, Jeff Williams; fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Skip McClain and Dr. Henry Haynes will officiate.
