Wallace Ledford

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Grove, OK 918-786-2261. Wallace Eugene Ledford was born on March 10, 1941 in Anderson, Missouri to Darlene and Alvie Ledford. He died at his home on January 8, 2016, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Wallace attended Grove High School and had a very successful career in Construction. Wallace had a passion for motorsports and even started his own race team and shared his enthusiasm with his entire family. Wallace is survived by his wife of 54 years Coeta Ledford, his son David Ledford and his wife Montie of Ponder, Tx, grandchildren Katie Ledford, Matthew Ledford, and Caroline Ledford, his sister Norma Fields and her husband CJ of Bixby, Ok, brother-in-law George Clark and his wife Claudia, as well as several nephews and nieces. Wallace was preceded in death by his son Mark Ledford, parents Darlene and Alvie Ledford, brothers Loy and Junior Ledford, and sister Nancy Brown. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 , 2 PM, at First Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma, with Rev. Doug Rainbolt officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service at the church , before heading to Hickory Grove Cemetery for interment.
