Wanda Barnhart

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555 Wanda Louise (Bigknife) Barnhart, 87 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Heartsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 15, 1928 in Vinita to Ogle Newman Bigknife and Annie Mae (Fleming) Bigknife. Wanda was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed going to garage sales, visiting with friends and family. She was married to Charley Edward Barnhart, he preceded her in death in March of 1994. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, siblings, Jack Hoxie Bigknife, Ogle Bigknife, Jr and Anna Mae Zeigler. The family includes: her children, Charley Edward Barnhart, Jr, of Missouri, Bobby Lee Barnhart of Vinita and Francy Louise Inman of Vinita; a sister, Oglelalla Goins of Broken Arrow; five grandchildren, including Cassie Inman Nichols of Vinita and one great-grandchild. The graveside service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, with Pastor Skip McClain officiating.
