ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK - Wanda Marie Bennett, age 56 and resident of Bartlesville, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, in Vinita, Oklahoma, as a result of an automobile accident. Wanda Marie Zilinski was born on October 2, 1959 at Middlesex Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Valentine James Zilinski and Ruby Lee (Summerlin) Zilinski. She attended elementary school in New Brunswick, New Jersey before relocation to Dewey, Oklahoma with her family. She attended Dewey High School up to the 9th grade. On October 10, 1975, Wanda and Ronald Eugene Bennett were united in marriage and they made their home in Bartlesville. Two children were born to this union, Scott and Crystal. Three grandchildren followed, Chelsea, Chasity, and Cameron. Wanda was primarily a homemaker, mom, wife, grandma and caregiver for her mother, Ruby. She also was employed at Oilfield Pipe & Supply Company in Dewey. In her spare time, she loved riding around the lakes and countryside. She also enjoyed gardening, playing games, bingo, watching the hummingbirds and cooking for her family for holidays and get-togethers. Her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas so she could cook her famous Chicken Noodles! However, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband, Ronald, and making memories with her family. Survivors include her husband, Ronald, of the family home; son, Scott Eugene Bennett of Bartlesville; daughter, Crystal Lynn (Bennett) Wells, and her boyfriend, William Heape III, of Humboldt, Kansas; grandchildren, Chelsea Bailey, Chasity Wells, and Cameron Wells, all of Humboldt; siblings, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Zilinski and their four children (three daughters and one son), of Front Royal, Virginia; Mr. and Mrs. David Zilinski and their two sons of Bartlesville; Miss Barbara Breese and her daughter and son of Bartlesville; and Mr. Richard Zilinski and their three children (one daughter and two sons) of Bartlesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Valentine J. Zilinski and Ruby L. (Summerlin) Zilinski; grandparents, Oscar and Irene Summerlin; her father-in-law, James Leroy Bennett (Roy); and one great-nephew, Jacob Carpenter. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 2:00 PM in the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Bartlesville. Rev. William J. Shupe will be the officiant.
