Warren Neill

Warren Dale Neill, a longtime resident of Vinita Oklahoma passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Warren was born in Welch, Oklahoma, February 3rd 1924. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Floyd E and Nina B Neill of Welch OK, son Dicky Dale Neill of Welch, sister Wilma Rainwaterf of Morgan City, Louisiana and wife of 31 years Lelea Eddings-Neill of Vinita. He is survived by his brother Archie Neill and sister Janice Layton of Welch, OK. Three daughters and their spouses; Cindy and Aaron Simms of Naperville, IL, Cathy and Tony Cordray of Vinita and Teina and Lonnie Trimble of Vinita. Charles and Anastasia Littlefield of Jacksonville, FL. Warren is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and his little dog named Pepper. Warren grew up outside of Welch, helping his parents with their general store. After attending trade school in Altamont, KS he joined the Navy in 1943 as an Aviation Machinist's Mate, Third Class. Upon an honorable discharge in 1946, he moved back to Welch. He worked for McDonald Douglas, Elliot Truck Lines and the US Government Census Bureau. He went on to work at Neill Cattle Company and retired in 1995 after thirty five years there. Warren loved spending time with his family, selling cars and helping his friends and family. We will all miss him so very much. Visitation will be Monday May 2, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:p.m. ant Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services for Warren will be will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 3, 2011 at Luginbuel Funeral Home with Pastor Skip McClain officiating officiating with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
