Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - 918-782-4400..... Wilda June Adams, 90 year old Pensacola, OK resident, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. June was born in Pensacola on June 24, 1926 to Clarence and Rosa (Lawson) Schubert. On October 12, 1949 she was united in marriage to Marvin Boyd Adams. Together they raised three daughters and were happily married for 65 years until his passing in 2014. June was a first grade teacher for 30 years. She also did children's sermons at church, led and attended bible studies, was a representative for the church at the United Methodist Women's Group regional meetings, was a member of various book clubs and garden clubs, and also enjoyed quilting and ceramics. Survivors include her daughters: Gloria Harchar and husband Norman of Plano, TX and Alice Andres and husband Mike of Wilmington, NC, son-in-law John Harchar, grandchildren: Elaine Glass, Karla Bell, Audrey Little, Chad Harchar, Emily Andres, and Ian Andres, great grandchildren: Grady Bell, Riley Bell, Nathaniel Harchar, Tommy Glass, Gwendolyn Glass, Logan Glass, Genevieve Glass, and Leoti Little, nieces and nephews: Rosemary and Doug Millikan, Jack Verner, Carol Kountoupis, and Carolyn West. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Boyd, daughter Rayma Harchar, sisters: Cleta Schubert Verner and Lorna Dean Schubert Millikan, brother Clinton Schubert, and one niece Judy Verner. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2016 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Otterbein Methodist Church with Pastor Ben Pascoe officiating.
