William "Bill" Clarence Brock William "Bill" Clarence Brock (83), of Bartlesville, passed from this life Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Healthcare, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born August 19, 1927, in Copan, Oklahoma, to Gilbert Zachariah and Georgia (Killian) Brock. Bill attended school in California and Cushing, Oklahoma graduating in 1945.On June 21, 1945 he enlisted in the United States Navy serving during WWII until being discharged on December 21, 1946. He later served in the Army Air Corps during the Korean War. Bill attended Oklahoma State University graduating with a degree in business, in 1952. On December 17, 1955 he married the love of his life, Kitty Sue Grantham, in Bartlesville. They settled in Bartlesville where Mr. Brock owned his own construction business, Brock Construction. He built homes for many years around Bartlesville and later expanded to building car washes, commercial property, and the Racquetball Fitness Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Bill enjoyed boat racing during the 1950's and 60's, and always loved cars. He was a member of the Home Builders Association, the Bartlesville Exchange Club, and the First United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Home Builders Sunday School Class. Preceding Mr. Brock in death are his parents, Gilbert and Georgia Brock, and one sister, Patricia White. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Kitty Sue Brock, three children, William C. Brock Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Naples, Florida, Krinna Hix, and her husband David, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Dee Puckett, and her husband Bill, of The Woodlands, Texas, grandchildren, Kathryn Brock, Charles Brock, Christi Hix, Jessica (Hix) Plunkett, and her husband Ben, Robert Hix, Emma Hix, Laura Puckett, Ernest Puckett, great granddaughter, Addison Plunkett, many other relatives, and friends. Services for Mr. Brock will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, with Reverend Buz Wierick officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011, at Neekamp -Luginbuel Funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Bartlesville. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the First United Methodist Church, of Bartlesville.
