William Edward "Eddie" King was born July 30, 1967 Pryor, Oklahoma to Carolyn King Brumbaugh, the younger brother of Kenny, his family called him "Eddie". Eddie slipped from this life on March 27, 2009 to his final rest, welcomed home by those of his family who've gone on before him; Eddie was forty-one years old. Eddie grew up in Vinita from the age of three and attended Vinita Public Schools, graduating from Vinita High School in 1986. Eddie loved all sports but his first love was baseball; he also played softball on local community teams, his friends called him "King Pin" - he was an aspiring athlete with plans to play pro ball. Left behind to grieve his passing is his mother, Carolyn Sue Brumbaugh and step-father, Charles; his maternal grandmother, Fay Harmon; his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends to numerous to mention. Eddie will be peacefully and gently laid to rest next to his brother Kenny and very close to his grandfather, William Madison Harmon, his spirit and soul rests for eternity with God. The funeral service will be held Monday, October 25, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at Cowboy Junction, with Pastor Wade Markham officiating. Interment will follow at the Martin Cemetery near Centralia.
