W.O. Jackson Zena, OK - W.O. Jackson passed away in his sleep, March 9, 2009 at 2:30 a.m. at his home in Zena, Oklahoma. He was the son of Orville and Minnie Marie (Beaty) Jackson. He was born at Council Cove, north of Grove on September 18, 1930. He was a truck driver for Will Rogers Turnpike out of Vinita, Oklahoma. He worked in construction until he went to work for the county where he retired. "Bill" as he was known was the eldest of 12 children. Bill has 10 children. They are David and Jessie of Dayton, Ohio, Laurence and Dena of Zena, Oklahoma, Orville and Janet of Arkansas City, Kansas, Dorothy and B.Z. Goodson of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Jerry and Brenda of Zena, "Stub" and Frankie Howerton of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Billy Joe and Piper of Zena, Tonya and Charley Moore of Pryor, Oklahoma, Janey and Jered Kaiser of Chelsea, Oklahoma, John and Stacy Jackson of Langley, Oklahoma. He is also survived by seven brothers and three sisters, Wayne, B.J., J.D., Edward Lee, Doyle, Wiley, John, Nadine, Linda, and Maxine. There are 35 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda; one brother, Elmer; and a grandson, Nicolas Wayne. Funeral services are Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Delaware Baptist Church. He will be buried at Zena Cemetery. Visitation night at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home on Wednesday 6-8PM in Grove.
