William J. Young, age 68, a resident of Disney, OK died Monday February 2, 2009 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita. He was born December 1, 1940 in Murphy, MO the son of Clyde Young and Iva (Cropper) Young. He was reared and received his education in various small towns in Jefferson County Missouri and was a marketing representative in the Banking industry. He has lived in the Disney area for the past seven years where he and Jerry Culver were united in marriage on September 6, 2002 where they made their home. He was a member of Friends of the Langley Library and enjoyed reading (was a news junkie) also traveling, horse racing, spending time with family and his three dogs. Bill leaves behind his wife, Jerry Culver of the home, three sons and daughters in law, Will and Renee Young of East Brunswick N.J. , Mike and Sandy Young of Beijing, China, Sam and Chris Young from Fenton, MO, one daughter Sandra Seitz from Kenosha, WI, two brothers and sisters in law, Tom and Lea Young of Lenexa, KS and Jim and Karen Young of Clinton, MO and five grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Vandon and Junior Young. A gathering to celebrate Bill's life will be held Saturday February 7, 2009 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley.
