William Baker

April 14, 1916 — August 18, 2009

William Judson Baker, age 93 a lifetime Vinita resident, died Tuesday August 18, 2009. William was born on April 14, 1916 the son of James and Nannie (Easter) Baker. In 1970 William was united in marriage to Ellen Ornder and together they raised five children. William was a hardworking, friendly, and loving man. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, mowing yards, and dancing. Preceding William in death include his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include his wife Ellen Baker, children Bob Baker and wife Lela of Lewisburg, TN, Judith Tanner and husband David of Bakersfield, CA, Evelyn Campen of Bakersfield, CA, William Baker Jr. of Vinita, Chris Boswell and husband Tim of Vinita, and James Swart of Vinita, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday August 20, 2009 at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor George Vaughn will be officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
