William "Bill" Neavon McKnight 77 year-old well known Ketchum resident, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Craig General Hospital in Vinita. He was born February 11, 1930 in Ketchum to James Madison and Cloe Etta (Jones) McKnight. Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving from 1952 to 1954. He was married to Patricia Jean Dunaway on November 21, 1950 in Bentonville, Arkansas; she preceded him in death on August 22, 2000. Bill had owned the Ketchum Market grocery store and Bill's Country Kitchen restaurant. He also worked many years as a brick mason retiring in 2000. Bill enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and especially making bread for his family and friends. The family includes: his brothers and sisters, Betty Moody Clark of Vinita, Frank McKnight and wife Marcella "Pill" of Vinita, Frances Armentrout and husband James of Ketchum, Marie McKnight of Ketchum, Robert McKnight and wife Mary Ann of Ketchum, Raymond McKnight of Ketchum, Carolyn Pool and husband Hugh of Wright City, Oklahoma, Louis McKnight and wife Bobbie of Ketchum and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Joy Dee McKnight. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The graveside funeral will be held Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ketchum Cemetery, with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
