Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - Langley- 918-256-5555 William Lee Payton, 67 year old Vinita resident, died Thursday, April 24, 2014. William was born in Spavinaw on February 21, 1947 to Henry and Erika (Stevenson) Payton. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1968. He worked for several years as a carpenter. He loved fishing and building bird houses. Survivors include his children: Carl (Payton) Steinburg and Cindy (Payton) Steinburg, and siblings: Carol Wallis, Carmen Bryant, Trudy Gay, and Sarah Davis. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12 p.m. at Carselowey Cemetery.
