Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita........ William Bill Dee Winton, Jr. 90. passed away peacefully September 9, 2016 at his home in Vinita, Ok. Mr. Winton a long time Vinita resident recently celebrated his milestone 90th birthday with a party attended by many friends and family. Bill was born May 19, 1926 to William Winton Sr. and Cornelia (Tanis) Winton. He proudly served in the Military during WW II, (Pacific War) spending most of his time in the Philippine Islands. In the Vinita area Bill had worked at Carter's Food Center, McSpadden's Fast Lube and Vinita Public Schools as a custodian. He enjoyed cleaning up yards for his neighbors, fishing at Indian Hills and Sailboat Bridge. Bill and Jannie enjoyed taking drives in the country and playing bingo. Bill enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Ms. Doris while sharing a treat or two. Bill was preceeded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Jannie. Survivors include one daughter; Sue Houk and husband John of California. Eleven grandchildren; JD, Kim< Karen, Billy, David, Aaron, Sonny and wife Sherrie, Denise and husband Mike,Dianna and husband Charles, Danielle, Michael and wiffe Michele. Twelve great-grand children; Dusti, Sierra, Leanna, Dusty, Johnathan, Kelsi, Megan, Melissa, Max, Alex, Michael Glen And Ricky. The family would like to thank the entire hospic staff who cared for Bill with love, patience and understanding. There will be a visitation Monday, September12, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at White Oak Cemetery Pastor Dave Talle officiating Graveside military honors will be presented.
