William Young

William L. "Bill" Young, 84 year old Vinita resident, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 4, 2013. Bill was born in Vinita on September 12, 1929 to Edwin and Grace (Reheard) Young. He married Wilma Bartmess and they were married for over 60 years. Throughout Bill's life he worked as a truck driver and was the founder of Young's Tire Shop. His hobbies included gardening and fishing. Survivors include his children: Linda Coffman and husband Don, Bob Young and wife Lahona, Terry Young and wife Sherry all of Vinita; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Siblings: Lloyd Young and wife Laura of Ft. Gibson, Bob Young and wife Peggy of Bartlesville, Ed Young and wife Jackie of Bartlesville, Kathy Young of Vinita, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ken and Ruth Wood also of Vinita. Preceding him in death was his parents, wife Wilma Young, son Billy Young, and a grandson D. J. Storey. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita, with Rev. Ken Farris officiating. Interment will follow at the Rogers Cemetery west of Welch. Memorials may be sent to the Craig County Cancer Outreach or the Centralia Fire Department. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
