Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555..... Willie Maxine Gleason, 88 year old Vinita resident, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017. Maxine was born in Pfeiffer, AR on October 23, 1928 to Charles and Emma (Weaver) Maxey. On April 5, 1975 she was united in marriage to Robert Gleason. She was employed with Cinch Connectors for over 20 years until her retirement. Maxine enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and gardening. Prior to having health issues she was a member of the Nazarene Church and the First Church of God. She was also the first woman in the state of Oklahoma to be a member of the Odd Felllows Lodge. Survivors include her husband Robert Gleason of the home, children: James Taylor and wife Kathy of Carlton, OR, Moeta Watts of Altus, OK, Fred Woodall of Vinita, Donna Kramer and husband Mark of Oklahoma City, Joyce Gleason of Vinita, and Lois Ann Boykin and husband Lewis of Cabool, MO, grandchildren: Calvin Woodall, Clinton Woodall, Jeremy Taylor, Jaime Taylor, Jennifer Taylor, Brett Hightower, Shana Hartley, and Ashley Chandler, as well as several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sons: Hayward Jackson Woodall, Jr and William Windelle Woodall, and siblings: Nathaniel Maxey, Girt Maxey, George Maxey, Betty Sue Maxey, and Burl Maxey. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Graveside services at Fairview Cemetery will follow the visitation and begin at 11 a.m with Pastor Eddie Wrinkle officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
