Willis Wilson Sapp, 69 year old resident of Colcord, Oklahoma, passed away on December 6, 2018.
Willis was born on December 16, 1948 in the Bull Hollow area of Delaware County. Willis was the son of Woodrow and Geneva (Proctor) Sapp. After graduating high school, Willis proudly served in the United States Army from 1969-1975. Willis worked in construction industry, building everything from buildings, roads and bridges. Willis was a proud member of the United Keetoowah Tribe. Willis enjoyed visiting with all his friends at the Jay Senior housing center, and spending time at the Border Town Casino.
Willis was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Michael Panther, one sister Wilma King. He will be dearly missed by his children; Jacqueline Sapp, Wileena Summerfield, Brent Sands, Serena White, Shelly Downing and Gilbert Downing, his siblings; Terry Gourd, Robert Thompson and Lugee Sapp. Willis was very proud of his five grandchildren; Hunter Sapp, Khaila Charqueno, Seidy Aguilar Avila, Angelina Aguilar Avila, Hailey Aguilar Avila.
A visitation for family and friends will be held 6-8 PM, Monday, December 10,2018. Services are scheduled for 2 PM, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 both at the Jay Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Willis will be laid to rest in the Round Springs Cemetery.
