Lifetime resident of Oklahoma, Wilma Lee Brown, age 90, died on Monday September 5, 2011 at the Grove Nursing Center. Wilma was the daughter of William C. and Lillie (Nix) Watkins; she was born on September 10, 1920 in Oilton, Oklahoma. She graduated from Fox High School, and then in 1938, was united in marriage to Oscar Shoupe in Healton, Oklahoma. Wilma enjoyed painting, playing the piano, and was an avid reader. Wilma was a retired teletype operator for the Tulsa World. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Gary Lee Shoupe, two brothers Cecil & Robert Watkins and two sisters Jewel Matlock and Faye Webber. Wilma is survived by her daughter Linda Bernack and her husband Ron, two sisters Lois Eulaske from Wichita, Kansas and Wanda Bridges and her husband Jack of West Plains, Missouri. She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Sheila Wilson and husband Randy, Brian Florence and wife Heather and Brett Florence and wife Trese, four great grandchildren Dylan Wilson, Chelsea Wilson, Tristan Florence and Marjorie Florence; and two great-great grandchildren, Parker and Riley Wilson. A visitation for will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday September 8, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Graveside services are planned for 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2011 at Olympus Cemetery.
