Wilma Pauline Robertson, age 84 of Miami, died Saturday, March 12, 2011. Wilma was born in Vinita on November 6, 1926, the daughter of Samuel and Harriet (Shaw) Robertson. She attended Ironside School and later White Oak High School, where she graduated in 1944. For over 26 years, Wilma worked for Southwest Bell Telephone Company as an operator. She started her career with Southwest Bell in Vinita, later transferring to Tulsa where she retired. She resided in Tulsa until 2009 when she moved to Miami. Wilma enjoyed working in her flower gardens and spending time with her beloved nieces and nephews. Survivors include her siblings: Betty Hubbard of Texas, her twin Willard Paul "Bill" Robertson of Miami, James Robertson of Broken Arrow, Harold "Robbie" Robertson of Miami, and Ruth Lester of Tulsa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Martha Barnett, Charles Robertson, Thurman Robertson, Edward Robertson, and Alice Robertson. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Luginbuel Chapel with Rev. Jim Bradford officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
