Wilma Snyder

Wilma Pauline Snyder, 78, a resident of Grove passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Grove Nursing Center. She was born on December 20, 1931 in Parsons, Kansas to Dan and Minnie (Fought) Carnahan. Wilma retired from being a machine operator for Automotive Control after twenty years of service in 1993. She also worked as a Certified Nurses Aid and cook for nursing homes in the Parsons area. She loved her arts and crafts, to sew and quilt. Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her parents Dan and Minnie Carnahan. Survivors include her husband Blaine Bertand Snyder of the home, Children Louise Farris, Robert Eugene Elder, Geraldine Nolen, David Ray Blankenship, Norma June Snyder, Steven Blaine Snyder and Jessita Sue Snyder Doggett, grandchildren are Stacie Nolen, Brenda Hackett, Kylie Doggett and Krysha Snyder, great grandchildren are Loren Hackett and Lily Nolen. Visitation for Mrs. Snyder will be Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Olympus North Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
