Lifetime Miami resident, Wilma Lea Wilburn, age 84, died on Wednesday 23, 2011 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Wilma was the daughter of Ray and Lucille (Cheely) Jones and was born on February 4, 1927 in Grove, Oklahoma. Wilma graduated from Miami High school. She was united in marriage to Edward Wilburn in April of 1946. Wilma was a member of the First Christian Church of Miami, was a long time bowler and an accomplished seamstress. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Willie Ross Jones. Wilma is survived by her husband of 63 years Eddie Wilburn, her son Ralph Wilburn of Welch, Oklahoma, her daughter Donna Deason and her husband Carl of Grove, Oklahoma, one brother Joe W. Jones and his wife Carol of Miami, Oklahoma and sister Maxine Elkins of Miami, Oklahoma. Wilma was also blessed with five grandchildren; Tonya Goldner, Destry Blaylock, Brandy Blaylock, Paula Wilburn and Chris Wilburn, and seven great-grandchildren Lani Goldner, Laci Goldner, Jax Goldner, Colton Goza, Abby Wilburn, Michelle Deason and Darrin Deason and many other loving family members. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2011 at Buzzard Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Thomas Hawkins officiating.
