Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma (918) 253-3222 ~ Winifred Irene Keener passed away, Monday December 28, 2015 at her home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, she was 84. Winifred was born on August 21, 1931 in Delaware County to Joe and Kate (Gourd) Owens. After high school she worked several jobs but spent the longest time as a receptionist for the Osage Nation. Winifred enjoyed playing bingo in her younger years, going for rides and watching wrestling. She loved her family, gospel music and going to church, but above all she loved her Lord. Winifred was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Dave Owens, Frank Owens, and D.C. Owens. Winifred is survived by sons, Ellis Owens of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and Russell Keener Jr of Lenapah, Oklahoma, daughters Mary Keener-Dauber of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and LynseyPatton of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, Tammy, Michael, Tiger, Ben, Justin, Eric, and Billy, she was blessed with four great grandchildren, BreeAna, Matthew, Aaron, and Blakely. Funeral Services for Winifred will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday January 4, 2016 at the Piney Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma. Reverend Jess Jones will officiate, Interment will follow at Piney Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will start at 6:00 p.m., on Sunday January 3, 2016 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
