Ycilla Wilson

Ycilla Fay Wilson, 79, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at her home in Grove. She was born on June 12, 1931 to Will Kit and Mertist Mae (Foster) Bigham in Lefors, Texas. She married Austin H. "Whip" Wilson on August 18, 1948 in Pampa, Texas. Ycilla worked as a hospital transcriptionist for Pratt Regional Medical Center in Pratt, Kansas for fifteen years. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Ycilla was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her sons, Herman Lynn Wilson of Columbus, Texas and Rodney Wilson and his wife, Connie of Bartlesville, OK; one brother, Burly Bigham of Lubbock, TX; two sisters, Peggy Winegeart of Pampa, TX, Melba Holland of Conroe, TX; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Church of Christ in Grove with Mr. Doug Rainbolt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 16, 2010 in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, Texas with Mr. Mike Sublett officiating.
